Mandy became a Registered Aromatherapist in 2017 through the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) after receiving her AAS in CAM specializing in Aromatherapy from American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS). She continues to work towards her Bachelor’s of Science in Integrative Health Sciences with ACHS. As founder of Wild At Heart Botanicals, she consults and educates clients on aromatherapy practices, formulation, and integrating aromatherapy into other health modalities. She joined the Aromatic Research Quality Appraisal TaskForce's (ARQAT) executive committee in January 2021 and sees the improvement of research methods as paramount to furthering best practice in the field of aromatherapy.

 

Mandy is an author, presenter, and a lived experience expert. In her hometown of Vista, California she serves as a Public Art Commissioner. She conducts workshops on the basics of essential oil use and some of her favorites include incorporating essential oils into works of art. She believes art and science are complementary and their integration brings harmony to the practice of holistic health. Her article, "Aromatherapy Benefits Human Trafficking Survivors", highlights her passion for supporting victims of domestic abuse.  

 

Mandy joined the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA) in 2017 and currently serves as the Pacific Region Representative, the Research Committee Co-Chair and as a Board Director. Mandy is the Lead Practitioner at Pharmaca/Medly Integrative Pharmacy in Carlsbad, Ca.
